The wiki about Battletoads games that anyone can edit. This is a new Wiki devoted to these great games for Nintendo consoles and Arcade. The first game, Battletoads had amazing graphics and gameplay. It featured a hard difficulty but it was the key to its success.

It was programmed by Rare, a software company famous for the best games seen on Nintendo platforms. Rare was the author behind games like Donkey Kong Country, Banjo Kazooie, Banjo Tooie, Goldeneye, Conker and the best fighting game (at least in graphics and gameplay) called Killer Instinct. Rare has developed for NES, Gameboy, SNES, Nintendo 64. It is currently making games for Nintendo DS and for Xbox 360 after it was absorbed by Microsoft. See Rare article for more information.

The Sega versions are the same equivalent to NES and SNES games, so I will not put them. Moreover, the NES and SNES versions came first.

• Dark Queen: The evil leader of the forces of darkness.
• Silas Volkmire: The evil mastermind behind the unintentional creation of the Battletoads.
• Robo-Manus: A hideous cybernetic mutant armed with an extensive arsenal of weapons, and quite likely the Dark Queen's second in command.
• Big Blag: Chief of the Dark Queen's mutant rat pack. A morbidly obese rat who likes to use his weight, as well as a morningstar-like tail, as a weapon.
• Karnath: The so called "King of the Snakes". A giant snake who inhabits the snake pits on Ragnarok's World.
• General Slaughter: A strong, minotaur-like boss in service of the Dark Queen.
• Scuzz: Big Blag's right hand rat.
